Activities are taking place across the county, many of which are free – ranging from natural art to outdoor singing ,from nature walks to volunteering with Somerset’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty Rangers. With over 50 opportunities to get outside throughout the Month there’s bound to be something for you!

Our Naturally Healthy campaign is about inspiring us all to get outside and enjoy Somerset’s amazing natural environment. During May 2017, Active Devon and Public Health in Somerset will be coordinating a Naturally Healthy Campaign on behalf of the Devon and Somerset Local Nature Partnership’s. Building on the success of Devon’s previous campaigns, Somerset will be joining in with the activities this year. Collectively we will ensure that promotion and activities engage the follow audiences.

Our aim is to increase people’s confidence and the opportunities they have to be active in the natural environment in order to improve their health and wellbeing.
